Today we wanted to plant a tree,
But couldn’t find a snow shovel.
I biked to work, but slid most
Of the way across the ice.
It would be better served, too
Postpone today until at least May.
Or maybe June, but then the kids
Will say, why can’t we have
Earth Day everyday?
